Veyr ("we," "our," "the app") is operated by Hridey Luthra. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we protect it.
When you use Veyr, we collect and store the following data in our secure cloud database:
Your Apple ID email address (for authentication). Your first name (if you provide it during onboarding). Photos of clothing items you add to your closet. Outfit recommendations, chat messages with the AI stylist, and outfit logs you create. Trip details including destination and dates. Your style preferences (tone, vibe, temperature unit, stylist name). Your Signature Palette (an AI-generated style profile based on your wear history).
Your data is used solely to provide the Veyr experience: generating outfit recommendations, learning your style preferences over time, fetching weather for your location, and syncing your closet across sessions. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Veyr uses the following third-party services to operate:
Supabase (database, authentication, file storage) — your data is stored on Supabase's infrastructure with encryption at rest. Anthropic Claude API (AI outfit recommendations, auto-tagging, style analysis) — your closet data and messages are sent to Anthropic's API for processing. Anthropic does not use your data to train their models. Apple WeatherKit (weather data) — your approximate location is used to fetch local weather. No precise location data is stored on our servers. Photoroom API (image enhancement) — clothing photos are sent for processing. Photos are not retained by Photoroom after processing.
Veyr requests location access to provide weather-based outfit recommendations. Your location is used to fetch weather data from Apple WeatherKit. We store your city and neighborhood name for display purposes. We do not track your movements or store precise GPS coordinates beyond what is needed for weather.
Veyr requests camera access to photograph clothing items. Photos are stored in our secure cloud storage associated with your account. You can delete individual items and their photos at any time from within the app.
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account through the app's Settings, your account is deactivated immediately. Account data is scheduled for permanent deletion within 48 hours of the deletion request.
All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS encryption. Your data is stored on Supabase's infrastructure with row-level security policies ensuring only you can access your own data. Authentication is handled through Sign in with Apple. Your Claude API key and other secrets are stored server-side and never ship to your device.
Veyr is intended for users aged 18 and older, in compliance with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected data from a minor, we will delete it promptly.
You can view all your data within the app at any time. You can edit your profile, preferences, and clothing items. You can delete your account and all associated data from Settings. You can contact us at any time to request data export or have questions about your data.
We may update this policy as Veyr evolves. Material changes will be communicated through the app or via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
